Melinda + Brian

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing an absolutely wonderful couple, Melinda and Brian, as they were married on the bay in Ocean City, MD. The weather was phenomenal, and I had a wonderful day photographing them with their family and friends.
Melinda has the most remarkable eyes I have ever seen.
That goreous green is her REAL eye color!

I couldn't help but steal Brian's ring when I found this napkin!

Brian comes from a large family....Say hello to the whole gang!

The daughter of Melinda's very good friend served as a flower girl,
and she loved every minute of it!
And finally, the beautiful couple themselves...Here's to happily ever after and thank you for letting me share your day with you!

Keli + Mike

This weekend, I had the priviledge of shooting with a someone I consider to be one of our local "rockstar photographers," Mark Gardner. The wedding was held on the eastern shore of Maryland at the beautiful Chesapeake Bay Hyatt. Keli and Mike are a very fun and fabulous couple, and obviously meant to be together. I had a terrific weekend, and here are a few photos to share.

FONZ

Today I went to the National Zoo with my friend Mike, who, although he technically *lives* and grew up here, only spends about 8 weeks of the year in DC. It was great to see him, and we had a great time. The zoo was a bit of a let-down though. Both Mike and I have been to South Africa where you see all of the wild animals running free and the humans have to stay penned up in their vehicles for safety. This means you can get really close to lions, elephants, giraffe, cheetahs, etc. And it seems that there was more construction at the zoo than animals. But we still enjoyed walking around taking pictures and enjoying the beautiful weather. Here are a few of my favorite furry friends.

Mike took this picture of me making friends =)

Back from Vacation!

I had a wonderful vacation in France and England wandering around and visiting a friend. During my travels through France, I fell in love with the different doors that I came across so I decided to catalog the varieties of handles on each one.

"Knobs and Knockers"

And here are a few more of my favorites from France...

I don't know who this tourist was, but I think he found a perfect spot.

There was no sand on the shore, just pebbles!

Market day!
